fter spending over 20 years in the Information Technology and Telecommunications fields, Steve Carter started another journey in his life path when he established CraftWorx Designs with his family in 2012. Having spent over a decade working on woodworking projects around his home and building out a medium sized workshop he felt that it was a natural progression for his engineering skills.
As the business developed, it became clear that the mantra of CraftWorx Designs would be to create and showcase products made using ONLY Barbadian woods. Special attention is also made to produce high quality, creative items which will appeal to our discerning customers.
Starting with only Writing Instruments, the product line has evolved to include Bowls & Platters, Cutting & Charcuterie Boards, Serving Trays, Corporate Gifts & Awards as well as Decorative and Artistic pieces.
Craftworx Designs has also been commissioned by several clients to produce bespoke pieces to their exacting specifications.
With a motto of “..when the ordinary will not suffice”, we pay special attention to creativity and quality with an aim to producing items that not only appeal to the eye but are functional and long-lasting.
Our products are sold at the various craft fairs (Providence, Limegrove) held throughout the year and as well as on our e-commerce store.
